Deputy Managing Director

Latiff is an accomplished banking executive with over three decades of experience, primarily with Standard Chartered Bank. He brings deep expertise in corporate and investment banking, client relationship management, deal origination, credit risk evaluation, and structuring complex financial transactions.

Latiff has led high-impact deals, including Senegal’s USD103 million solar streetlamp project, Cameroon’s USD750 million Eurobond, and multilateral-backed facilities such as a USD150 million African Development Bank-guaranteed transaction. His expertise spans infrastructure, energy, and transportation financing, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and risk management.

He holds an MBA from the University of Bangor, is a Fellow of ACCA (UK), and a Chartered Banker from the Chartered Banker Institute (UK). Fluent in English with working knowledge of French, Latiff combines strategic foresight, governance acumen, and a customer-centric approach to deliver sustainable growth and long-term value for stakeholders.
