Lukman brings over two decades of extensive banking experience, covering critical areas such as Branch Operations, Customer Service, Branch Coordination and Analytics, Merger Integration, and Process Improvement & Automation.
Before his appointment as Country Operations Officer for Access Bank (Gambia) Limited, Lukman served as Zonal Head of Retail Operations for Southwestern Nigeria, where his exceptional problem-solving and leadership skills drove numerous operational successes.
He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics and an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Lukman has further enhanced his expertise through professional and leadership programs at globally renowned institutions, including Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania), Stanford University, and Harvard Business School in the United States.
Lukman is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN), and an International Retail Banker certified by the Retail Banking Institute, UK.
