Mr. Dominic Mendy

Mr. Dominic Mendy is a highly experienced consultant in management, finance, investment and policy design. He has prepared public policies in education and industry and management programmes for service suppliers in the private sector and micro finance institutions, as well as strategic plans for corporate and nonprofit making and religious organizations.

Mr. Mendy is a well-trained accountant and obtained a degree in Economics with honors in accounting in 1987 from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, and in 1995 graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Malaya, Malaysia majoring in Corporate Finance and Strategic Management.

Mr. Mendy has vast years of work experience from different sectors. He has served as a Banker at Standard Chartered Bank, Gambia.  He was once also a Minister responsible for Economic Affairs and Finance, and for Trade, Industry and Employment. He also lectures at the University of The Gambia in areas of Organizational Behaviour, Finance, Strategic Management and Microeconomics. .

Mr. Mendy is currently runs a consultancy firm called Emanic Consulting in which he provides services to clients such as the UNDP, the European Commission, the African Development Bank, the African Centre for Democracy and Human Rights, the World Bank/Government of The Gambia, the ECOWAS Secretariat in Abuja Nigeria and several private organizations and NGOs.
