In fulfilment of its new strategic objective to becoming Africa’s gateway to the world, Access Bank, one of Gambia’s leading retail banks unveiled its new Mobile Banking App and a USSD code (*901#) to ease customers’ banking needs. The new platforms allow customers to perform banking transactions anywhere, at any time. This is solely designed to make banking flexible for their customers.
Introducing the new mobile App and USSD platform, the Managing Director of Access Bank Gambia Limited, Ayokunle A. Olajubu indicated that
“Access Bank continues to push the limits in the realms of retail banking by creating and developing alternate innovative solutions that continues to bring ease, convenience and security to our growing customer base.” Access Bank Gambia does not only strive to promote real time banking with a click of a button, it also encourages cashless banking with the introduction of instant ATM card issuance. These innovations further compliment the laudable financial inclusion policy of The Central Bank of The Gambia.
Mr Olajubu also mentioned their strategic plan as a group, to being Africa’s Gateway to the World, by accelerating the bank’s growth and position across various operating markets in 2022. He stated that “
Access Bank, the preferred retail bank in the Gambia, will continue to invest heavily in its digital banking infrastructure, to ensure that excellent customer service is provided to our customers”. He also commented on the newly upgraded Internet Banking Platform that will be unveiled later this month.
He concluded by saying,
“Access Bank over the last few years has built an acknowledged brand reputation for service excellence, innovation and commitment to the customers we serve. We will continually strive and endeavour with digital transformation and empowered employees to deliver world class banking”.
The Access Bank Gambia App can be downloaded on either the Apple or Google play store. The Access Bank Mobile Banking USSD code is *901#, this can be activated on any Africell line.
